How does tribella treatment work?

CONSEQUENCES AND PREDICTIONS

Recovery Time

You need to wait 24 hours before putting anything on your skin, including water. During a period of two days, we ask that you refrain from wearing cosmetics.
Keep your hands and clothing off the treatment area (NO SCRATCHING)
Keep out of the sun as much as possible over the next week (wear SPF30+).
For the first 48 hours, you should refrain from strenuous exercise and hot baths or massages on the treated area.

Before Treatment

In the week leading up to your treatment, you should not get any sun and should always wear SPF 30 or higher.
Do not wear makeup to your therapy session.
Prepare for recovery after your procedure by washing your bedding (needs to be clean to avoid bacterial infection)

How many sessions will I need to see results?

Is there anything special I should do before I get the treatment?

Make sure your skin is clean. Before your treatment, don’t put on any cosmetics or lotions, and stay out of the sun. Take off any jewelry that may get in the way of the area being treated. Shave the treatment area if there is a lot of hair there. Prevent all tanning, including with self-tanners. It’s helpful to have your medical history handy, as the technician will most likely inquire about it.

Is it going to hurt?

It could be unsettling, but it won’t hurt. After the treatment, your face will be red and you’ll feel intense heat, much as when you get a sunburn. A topical numbing lotion may be used to lessen discomfort during more intensive treatments.

When my treatment is complete, how will I feel?

Afterward, your skin will be red and hot, similar to a sunburn. Using the at-home serums offered can help with this (not the lotions). Within 24 to 48 hours, you should stop feeling heated.
