Laser Hair Removal Technician Course

This course is designed for qualified professionals or students with some background knowledge in this field. Applicants must be 18 or older of age and must have completed high school or equivalent.
The students will gain knowledge and practical skills that will enable them to be competent to work in the cosmetic industry as a hair removal laser technician. Upon successful completion of both theory and clinical practice of this course students will be able to work at professional clinics or even open their own business in this field of the industry.

Theory

  1. Anatomy of the hair follicle and phases of hair growth.
  2.  The physics behind the functioning of laser hair removals.
  3.  Understanding the underlying reason for topical, genetic and systemic hair growth.
  4.  Reviewing the Fitzpatrick scale and understanding the suitable treatment for each client.
  5.  Learning about the different medical laser hair removal systems in the industry.
  6.  Clinical safety guidelines and protocols to follow for safe use of equipment.
  7.  Final assessment at end of course.

Clinical

  1. Training on Health Canada approved microneedling pen.
  2. Demonstrations from instructors with years of experience in the industry.

Microneedling

This course is designed for qualified professionals or students with some background knowledge in this field. Applicants must be 18 or older of age and must have completed high school or equivalent.
The students will gain knowledge and practical skills that will enable them to be competent to practice microneedling skills professionally. Upon successful completion of both theory and clinical practice of this course students will be able to work at professional clinics or even open their own business in this field of the industry.
