The process is also entirely accurate, with patients being discharged immediately following their procedures. The whole thing can be done in less than half an hour. The standard recommendation is more than three sessions to see the best benefits. After treatment, there is no bruising, bleeding, or irritation, unlike with other microneedle procedures.

How does the microneedling treatment work?

If you’re looking for a painless way to rejuvenate your skin, microneedling might be just what you need. This innovative treatment involves the use of tiny needles that stimulate collagen production and help your skin look younger, fresher, and more radiant. But how does it work? Microneedling actually is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that involves using a device to create tiny punctures in the skin. This triggers the body’s natural healing process, resulting in the production of new collagen and elastin. The procedure can be used to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and other skin concerns.

What to expect from the treatment

Because of its collagen-stimulating properties, microneedling can reduce the visibility of acne scars by enhancing the skin’s overall thickness and flexibility. By increasing collagen production, microneedling can also help smooth out fine lines and wrinkles. This process can also help tighten sagging skin, enhance its texture, and normalize its tone. With nothing in the way of recovery time, microneedling has emerged as a popular non-invasive cosmetic option. Injection sites may become temporarily red, swollen, bruised, or itchy as a side effect. Although infections and persistent scars are uncommon, they can occur.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

If I want the best results from my microneedling, what should I avoid doing first?
To lessen the likelihood of bruising, you should hold off on taking any blood-thinning medications, aspirin, anti-inflammatory drugs, herbal supplements, vitamin E, or fish oil for at least a week before your microneedling treatment, and you should wait until the day after your treatment to resume taking them.
If I've just had micro needling, what should I try to avoid?
Initial Healing Week: Avoid getting the treated area dirty; do not smoke; do not drink excessively; do not overheat the skin by exercising, swimming, or getting it wet. Around one week after finishing treatment. Using moisturizer once or twice daily is recommended.
What are the potential risks associated with microneedling?
Microneedling devices carry a high risk of causing skin injury. Symptoms of injury, such as bleeding, bruising, redness, tightness, itching, and peeling, usually subside on their own after a few days to a few weeks.
What are the post-microneedling care instructions?
Don’t pick at your skin or cleanse it after you’ve had it treated. Keep your skin well hydrated at all times and let dead skin naturally flake off. If your skin is extremely dry, you should moisturize it at least once every two hours. When your skin is no longer red and irritated, you can resume using your regular skincare products, including Retin-A.

We use a diode laser to deliver results. It has a wavelength of 810 nm. Its longer wavelength makes it idealistic for deeper penetration. Although, it is safe for individuals of all skin types and different hair colors due to its properties of delivering high frequency and low energy pulses. It works best for individuals with medium to thick coarse hair and medium to dark skin tones. Such is so because a diode laser is mostly in the infrared spectrum, allowing for energy to be more selectively absorbed by the melanin present in follicles. Overall, with the newest technology, a hair removal procedure with a diode laser is almost painless.
